Installé à Daegu, Corée du Sud, Seok Jae-hyun est curateur indépendant et directeur du Korean Photo Contents Institute.

Il a oeuvré dans l’organisation du festival de photographie coréen nommé Daegu Photo Biennale en 2006. Il a organisé de nombreuses expositions internationales, dont Imaging Asia in Documents, Women in War, Blooming Silk Road, Eye of Istanbul _ Ara Guler. Il a également participé à plusieurs festivals de photographie internationaux tels que Foto Fest (Houston, Etats-Unis), Foto Istanbul (Turquie), SIPF (Singapour), DIPF (Dali, Chine), Format (Derby, Royaume-Uni), Festival de la Luz (Buenos Aires, Argentine) et Kyotography (Japon) en tant que membre de comité de sélection ou critique.

Seaok Jae-hyun based in Daegu, Korea, is independent curator and director of Korean Contents Institute.

He has organized a major Korean photo festival named Daegu Photo Biennale in 2006 with others. Moreover, he has curated many international exhibitions including Imaging Asia in Documents, Women in War, Blooming Silk Road, Eye of Istanbul _ Ara Guler. He has also participated in international photo festivals such as Foto Fest (Houston, USA), Foto Istanbul (Turkey), SIPF (Singapore), DIPF (Dali, China), Format (Derby, UK), Festival de La Luz (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Kyotography (Japan) as a foreign curation team or reviewer.
